Through prayerful dependence on God and respectful cooperation with each other, we will make a difference in our world by fostering an awareness and understanding of human need. Statement by the Board of Directors of DACU. 6-19-20:
We are living through a profound time - a time of pandemic, pain and protest, as well as the possibility of real, systematic change. In this time, we commit to the Dubuque area interfaith community and racial equity. As “normal” shifts, we wish to provide meaningful assistance, anchored in a commitment to our Mission which calls us to express “concerns for justice and our call to serve others”. We are listening and learning; finding hope and inspiration in the actions of our Dubuque community.
